Our Itinerary
Day 1 (Rome)
Daytime
Buongiorno and welcome to italy! Due to jet lag, we’ll be taking it easy this first day. We’ll take a quick trip to the Mouth of Truth while we relax and have a light lunch.
Evening
The famous Trevi fountain is a wonder to behold at night. Once we’ve finished up our nightcap at Oppio Cafe, we’ll head to the fountain before turning in for the night.
Day 2 (Rome)
Daytime:
After a quick bite our lodgings are within walking distance to the famous Roman Colloseum. We’ll explore the colosseum and the pantheon before we go our separate ways until dinner.
Day 3 (Rome)
Daytime
Ciao! It’s Friday and our last day in Rome. Enjoy the sights and we’ll see you later for an optional group dinner!
Day 4 (Florence)
Daytime
At first light, we take a 90 minute train to Firenze! After we get settled in our lodgings, the day is ours. We’ll be free to explore, pick up souvenirs and enjoy our time under the Tuscan sun.
Evening
Private chef, night! For what is a Pearle Excursion without a touch of luxury? Our chef will travel from the heart of Florence to show us all the glorious food the city has to offer.
Day 5 (Florence)
Daytime
We’ll embark on a trip to some of tuscany’s finest wineries to channel our inner Diane Lane.
Evening
After the wine tour, we’ll need food and lots of it! We’ll fill our bellies and dine before turning in for the night.
Day 6 (Florence)
Daytime
Ciao, lovelies! For the last day in Florence today is our free day to roam about the city.
Evening
After having an optional group dinner we’ll wind down for the night to get ready for the next and final day of travel on this trip!
Day 7 (Lake Como)
Daytime
We’ll arrive in the sleepy town of argegno. While it is a far cry from the towering cities of Rome and Florence, this is the home of Lake Como!
We’ll grab gelato and explore this little town with its Shakespearean architecture. There are so many hidden trails and tunnels we’ll see where they lead.
Evening
On our first evening, we’ll “wine down” with some of the best parmesan risotto you’ve ever had at a quaint trattoria right by the lake.
Day 8 (Lake Como)
Daytime
We’ll make homemade pasta right here in Como. Our teacher is a wonderful italian woman with her own food blog. With help from her daughter and husband, she’ll teach us how to make gnocchi, spaghetti and tiramisu. We’ll also learn the history behind these foods.
After a quick lunch, we’ll hop on a boat, drink some prosecco and have our own personal tour of Lake Como!
Evening
After the boat tour, we’ll have a free evening for everyone to enjoy their last night in italy. Together or separate, I hope you’ll have as much fun as I did!
Day 9
We’ll hop in a taxi to Milan airport, where we’ll fly back to rome and then head home. Arriverderci, Roma!
